India's government is a federal republic. It's form of leadership is federal. The role of the citizens voting and personal freedoms is  from a parliamentary democracy. The role of the citizens is the same as Japan's.

Japan's type of government is a constitutional monarchy. The form of leadership is unitary. The role of the citizens and personal freedoms is from a parliamentary democracy. The form of leadership is the same as China's. The role of the citizens is the same as India's.
